Weekly Meeting Times
Youth from our church and community (5th-12th Grade) meet every Wednesday at 6:30 - 8 PM for fun, fellowship and time in God's word.
Our Mission
We're very excited to be a part of what God is doing with this ministry and we look forward to meeting with youth every Wednesday at 7 pm and also during special events that we plan throughout the year.
The main goal of this ministry is to follow the great commission that Jesus passed to the disciples: "And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'” Matthew 28:18-20 ESV
Romans 10:9-10 says that if you confess with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” you will be saved and if you believe with your heart, you will be justified. For this ministry, we try to follow the great commission by first and foremost, sharing the gospel and what it truly means to have salvation in Jesus Christ.
Second to salvation, we try to convey the importance of studying God’s word on a daily basis. In Hebrews 4:12, the author says that, “the word of God is living and powerful.” Although the Bible was written during a different time period, it’s still very much alive, dynamic and applicable to the situations that we deal with today.
After salvation and becoming more in tune with God’s word, we try to communicate the importance of what it means to be a part of the body of Christ. Paul wrote to the church in Galatia to use the new freedom that they had in Christ to serve one another humbly in love. With discipleship comes new accountability, dependability, and a spirit of servitude that is modeled after the Savior.
Lastly, we apply God’s word in a way that gives wisdom and direction in being a teenager and young adult in today’s world. In 1 Timothy 4:12, Paul calls the young to be an example to all believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity. We have had the privilege to witness firsthand the amazing transformation that happens to the youth of our community when God gets ahold of them. We're eager to witness more of God’s transforming grace and we truly look forward to continuing down the path that God has laid before us and this ministry.
